Amanzi Travel is committed to ensuring that all our customers are supported and looked after throughout their experience in Africa.
As part of this commitment we offer the following support services:
Before Your Trip
- You will receive a comprehensive pre-departure information pack relating specifically to your booking
- You will receive a Medical Information Advice sheet from Amanzi Travel's very own doctor, Mike Whitehouse. This will include all sorts of valuable information eg. necessary immunisations, advice on malaria medications and medical travel kits
- If you would like Amanzi Travel to arrange for you to travel out and back on the same day as another volunteer this is something we can look into for you.
- If you would like to contact someone who has been on your chosen trip before we can arrange this and provide you with their contact details
- Amanzi Travel can help you find a luxury safari experience or adventure expedition for either before or after your volunteer placement - tailor making a trip just for you.
- We will be available either by telephone or email to answer any questions that you might have before traveling
On Your Trip
- Your local Project Managers and Coordinators offer excellent support and guidance throughout your placement - helping you to settle in and get the most out of your placement.
- You will be transferred to and from the airport by one of our local support staff (There are one or two projects where this is not included however we can make arrangements if you would prefer)
- The UK Amanzi Travel team will help you with any problems that your Project Manager and coordinator has not dealt with to your satisfaction.
Following Your Trip
- We will contact you to find out how your trip went and to get your feedback
- You will have the opportunity to sign up for updates on your particular volunteer project
