General Information

Departure point: Victoria Falls Rest Camp, Parkway Drive, Victoria Falls
Check-in time: 8.45 am
Departure time: 9.30 am
Day 1: Victoria Falls to Chobe National Park (D)
After meeting at the Victoria Falls Rest Camp in Parkway Drive where there will be a short briefing, the tour will depart for Botswana. After border formalities the town of Kasane on the banks of the Chobe River will be reached. During the afternoon there will be a trip on a game viewing boat into Chobe National Park via the Chobe River. After the cruise, 4x4 game vehicles will be boarded and a game drive to the pre-erected semi-luxury camp situated near the banks of the Chobe River will follow. It should be noted that the campsites used in Chobe National Park are not fenced and wild animals can and sometimes do venture into and through the camp. This is natural for the wildlife and part of the Chobe experience and the guide will brief everyone on camp security on arrival.
Day 2: Chobe National Park to Kasane (B)
Arise before dawn for tea and coffee before starting on the morning game drive. With luck a few of the nocturnal animals will be seen before they rest up for the day as well as glimpsing some of the rest of Africa's wildlife waking up. The group will return to camp for breakfast before transferring out of the Park to Kasane in the late morning from where the tour will head back to Victoria Falls where the trip will end in the late afternoon.
Please note that the following itinerary should be used as a guide only and may vary from day to day depending on road and weather conditions, political situations and group decisions. Due to tourism laws in some of the countries visited, there may be a truck and crew change during the trip.
